Bigger is not always better. More is not always… more.
It’s so damn easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing (read: anyone in your particular vertical or pretty much any other woman business owner).
Seeing wins and fabulous vacations posted on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Believing all the numbers that get thrown out there and the claim about just how easy it is. And if you just do this one new thing, everything will change, but you have no time in your schedule to do the one new thing. All of which leaves you feeling bad about yourself, like you’re not measuring up.
If any of this hits home for you, there’s a question worth asking — what’s the game you want to be playing?
Is it the seven-figure business or six-figure launch? Is it working with fewer bigger clients with bigger budgets? Is it launching an online program or membership so you can shift how you’re working? Or is it working fewer hours so you can pick your kids up from school or take off a month to travel each year?
What’s the business YOU want to be building? And how will YOU define success?
That looks different for everyone, and it should.
