November Resource Roundup 📚
What to read, listen to, and watch, in one place.
Here’s the next Resource Roundup — the best of what I’ve been listening to, reading, and watching in November.
Enjoy the rest of this long weekend.
In case you missed it.
We’re all busy and there’s a lot to read, so…
Here’s a roundup of what I shared on Business/Women on the four Wednesdays in November:
📚 Three books currently on deck.
”The Ministry of Time: A Novel” — by Kaliane Bradley (a big thank you to
for lending me her copy)”How Do You Choose? A Human Design Guide to What’s Best for You at Work, in Love, and in Life” — by Erin Claire Jones
“A More Beautiful Question: The Power of Inquiry to Spark Breakthrough Ideas” — by Warren Berger; audiobook narrated by Dale Nichols
🎥 Worth watching.
Just lovely… especially if you’re having a tough day.
🎙️ Five podcast episodes to check out.
🎧 Some songs I’m listening to…
“Beautiful Strangers" by Mavis Staples
“Richter: On the Nature of Daylight” by Max Richter
“Eden” by Avalon Emerson & the Charm
“Angel” by Alice Phoebe Lou
📷 Four Instagram posts that hit home.

🍿 Lots of movies… tis the season.
Streaming:
“Champagne Problems” — an entirely predictable, yet utterly charming Christmas movie — on Netflix (2025)
“Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” — what can I say… I’m a Downton fan, beginning to end — on Peacock(2025)
“Train Dreams” — a simply stunning film — on Netflix (2025)
“Sorry, Baby” — an indie film with heart and a message (or two) — on HBO Max (2025)
Two currently streaming that didn’t float my boat…
“The Substance” — I get it (and Demi Moore is fantastic) and yet I could not watch it to the end — on HBO Max (2024)
“After the Hunt” — I found it overdone and was disappointed as I love most of director Luca Guadagnino’s other films (particularly, “Call Me By Your Name,” “Challengers,” “I Am Love,” and “A Bigger Splash”) — on Prime Video (2025)
In theaters:
“Sentimental Value” — a family drama that is superbly acted and cuts deep — in theaters now (2025)
”Hamnet” — adapted from Maggie O’Farrell’s National Book Critics Circle Award Winning novel of the same name, and a top-ten all-time favorite of mine; bring the Kleenex — in theaters (2025)
📺 A few series that I’m loving.
“Down Cemetery Road” — streaming on Apple TV (Emma Thompson + Ruth Wilson, based on the Mark Herron mystery series — NB: Mark Herron also wrote the series that is now “Slow Horses,” also on Apple TV)
“This Is Going to Hurt” — streaming on Netflix (another Brit, this time Ben Whishaw working as a physician in the NHS, who I also loved in “Black Doves”)
“Chad Powers” — streaming on Hulu (think ”Ted Lasso” and “Stick” but U.S. football — so funny and charming… thank you Mackenzie Perna for the recommendation:)
And that’s a wrap. Enjoy!
Until next month.
Katherine
